High Time we had a MAKCi Index?

Which city to nominate for MAKCi is always a difficult question in absence of clear-cut criteria. If a city is not nominated, it will automatically get eliminated as a contender for K-city, even though in reality, it may continue to rank high on various types of capital. Shouldn't the methodology automatically retain previous nominations and look for more and current information on developments which are in its favour or which disfavour its present position? Also, comparison among cities in absence of hard data makes the exercise of ranking among them somewhat arbitrary and less transparent. I feel it is high time we develop a MAKCI Index to address some of these issues.

I agree - I like the videos - they bring places to life - combined with an index approach would then make the process even better.
